We had a great response for the Breast Cancer "jean day" in October. I thought we could do a similar charity event on Friday January 9th to ring in the New Year!!
A friend of mine from College and his wife's son was born January this year at just one pound. Below in black is his story. Their son has been picked as the Oregon Chapter Ambassador. I thought it would be great to help in her efforts to raise money for this great cause. Here is a link to a donation site.
I will be able to supply you all with some stickers from the charity that will explain why you are wearing jeans prior to the event. I thought we would go with the same approach as the Lee denim days.
If you wish to participate and wear jeans in support of the March of Dimes please make a donation to the above donation site.

" We are starting early fundraising for March of Dimes, Team Jaxson.
Our team was so successful last year in just a few short weeks, I am excited to see what this year has to offer.
Some of you know, that Jaxson has been names The Greater Oregon Chapter Ambassador, for March of Dimes. He was picked, along with 3 other children to represent the lower region of Washington and all of Oregon. This a good reason for us to really step up our efforts. It will include possible news interviews along with articles. Which will be featuring his name and face. So, we as a team have a lot to live up to this year.
Current Jaxson Status -
Jaxson is nearly 14 lbs and 24 inches long. He is sitting up and working on crawling. His neuro-clinic stated he was about a month behind in development via corrected age. They are VERY impressed with his progression and we expect him to eventually catch up and be running wild just like his brother.
It is hard to imagine last year at this time, I was a month away from an unexpected delivery. Here we are now, Jax 10 1/2 months old and doing more than we ever expected. He defeated being blind, and now we are looking forward to possibly not having the need for hearing aides. It is simply amazing!!!! "
