So I was reading a post over on Seth Godin's blog about feeding parking meters and I loved the idea so much I thought I would give it a twist and post about it here. Not only that we are going to try it out this week and I will let you know how it goes.
The twisted idea is to post an agent or two near a busy parking area that requires patrons to feed a parking meter. Preferably the location would be near your community. When people get out to feed the meter our thought is to just do it for them and ask (permission) if they would like to take a flier for a new apartment home.

I bet most people will give you a sour "no thanks" and pay the meters themselves.

I wonder if that last response is based on what that person would do???
Nevertheless thank you for taking the time to comment and have an amazing day!!! M

You should check out METERMAN. I'm directing a documentary on him. He feeds expired parking meters in Los Angeles! HE does it for free

Offering to give someone a few coins is insulting.
It's also bribing people to pay attention to you, which suggests that no one would pay attention to you for free.
The point of the original idea is to save someone from a large fine. It's about doing something they couldn't do (pay the meter in time) and accepting a small burden to help them avoid a big one.
