I must say, this book keeps getting better and better! I have laughed, felt the pain and learned more than a thing or two! It gets my quirky endorsement of; FAMOUS!

The Dip

The Dip by Seth Godin This book is a must have for your library. It's an short inspiring read about being the best in the world and what it takes to get there.

The Secret; The best marketing scheme ever...

I normally would not riff on something I did not want to draw attention to but I couldn't leave this one alone any longer. If I hear about The Secret one more time this week I think I might heave on the spot.

To paraphrase Matt Damons' character, Will, in Good Will Hunting; You dropped 21.99 on a book full of quotes  and principles you could have got for free on the internet at the public library.

My hat is off to the PR machine behind the book but it's not worth the price of the paper it's printed on. Just look up "The Law of Attraction" on Google and you'll get the gist and be done with it.

That's not to suggest that I don't believe in the principles communicated in the book. I do. I just wouldn't pay for  what you can find for free in a simple internet search. Sorry Rhonda. But, great job on the PR machine.
