The number one apartment Amenity
I just read an article about a recent survey conducted by Apartments.com [Click here for article] They found that air conditioning was the number one amenity searched for by apartment renter's:
"Our findings were very shocking because air conditioning was the number one-searched amenity, across the board, since January of this year," Lisa DeVries of Apartments.com tells MHN. "I think that a lot of people looking for apartments know that even if it's not warm while they're looking, it will be soon. If they're signing a one-year lease, that's going to be something they're thinking about."
I was a bit amused at the words "very shocking!" For the past 5+ years we have all been slammed with the endless rhetoric of global warming woes. Seems natural to me that apartment shopper's would think about air conditioning. But hey, that is just one guys opinion.
